SSC Selection Post Phase 13 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th), Higher Secondary (12th), or Graduation, depending on the specific post.

Age Limit: Minimum age is 18 years; maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxations apply as per government norms.

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens or meet other criteria as specified in the official notification

SSC Phase 13 Selection Process

Computer-Based Examination (CBE): An objective-type test tailored to the candidate’s qualification level.

Skill Test (if applicable): For certain posts, a qualifying skill test such as Typing, Data Entry, or Computer Proficiency may be required.

Document Verification: Verification of eligibility and other documents

SSC Phase 13 Application Fee

General/OBC Candidates: ₹100

SC/ST/Female Candidates: Exempted from fee

SSC Phase 13 Exam Pattern​

Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Total Marks: 200 (2 marks per question)

Negative Marking: 0.50 marks deducted for each incorrect answer

SSC Phase 13 Syllabus

Matriculation Level (10th Pass)

General Intelligence: Non-verbal reasoning, including analogies, similarities, differences, spatial visualization, problem-solving, and pattern recognition.

General Awareness: Basic knowledge of current events, India and its neighboring countries, sports, history, culture, geography, economics, and general polity.

Quantitative Aptitude: Number systems, whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, time and distance, and basic mensuration.

English Language: Basics of English grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and correct usage

Higher Secondary (12th pas)

General Intelligence: Both verbal and non-verbal reasoning, including analogies, classification, series, coding-decoding, and problem-solving.

General Awareness: Current events, India and its neighboring countries, history, culture, geography, economics, general polity, and scientific research.

Quantitative Aptitude: Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and data interpretation.

English Language: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence correction, synonyms, antonyms, and idioms

Graduation level

General Intelligence: Advanced reasoning topics, including analogies, classification, series, coding-decoding, problem-solving, and decision-making.

General Awareness: In-depth knowledge of current events, India and its neighboring countries, history, culture, geography, economics, general polity, and scientific research.

Quantitative Aptitude: Advanced arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and data interpretation.

English Language: Advanced grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence correction, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, and phrases
